Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology has proposed the launch of a one-stop solution for the complete lifecycle management of R&D projects funded by scientific organizations under the Government of India. To address existing challenges in the current national R&D ecosystem, the Unified Project Management System (UPMS) has been conceptualized and brought into focus.

What is UPMS?

UPMS is a one-stop digital solution proposed by NITI Aayog to streamline the planning, funding, monitoring, and evaluation of research & development (R&D) projects funded by Government of India.
